MACHINE HEAD: First Video Footage Featuring Stand-In Bassist Posted Online

September 11, 2007

The first video footage has surfaced of MACHINE HEAD performing with temporary bassist Brandon Sigmund from fellow San Francisco Bay Area metal band HOSTILITY. A six-minute fan-filmed clip of the band's live rendition of the song "Aesthetics of Hate" recorded on September 7, 2007 at the Glasshouse in Pomona, California can be viewed below.

Sigmund is the temporary replacement for regular MACHINE HEAD bassist Adam Duce, who was forced to sit out the trek after suffering a broken leg while dirt biking in Redding, CA. Also joining the band onstage to reproduce Adam's backing vocals is Jared MacEachern of tourmates SANCTITY.

"We're really stoked to have found guys as killer as Brandon and Jared to help us through this situation," MACHINE HEAD drummer Dave McClain previously said in a statement.

Duce's leg is healing normally and he's currently on track to rejoin the band for the rest of their 2007 tour schedule, starting with their Loudpark 07 date in Japan on October 20.
